Weston M. Andress is the regional president for PNC Bank in Western Carolina. Additionally, he is the senior banking executive working closely with corporate partners to implement strategies and deliver PNC’s brand in the Western Carolina region of North and South Carolina, which includes Charlotte, The Triad, Asheville, Greenville, and Columbia.
Prior to joining PNC in September 2012, Andress served as chief financial officer for Carr Properties, a real estate investment company in the greater Washington, D.C. area. From 2004 to 2008, Andress served as chief financial and chief investment officer, then president and trustee of Colonial Properties Trust. For 16 years, until 2004, he worked for Bank of America, serving in various investment banking and executive roles.
Andress is president of the board of directors of the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation and on the executive committee of the board of directors of Read Charlotte. He also serves on the Board of Commissioners of myFutureNC, The Mint Museum advisory committee, the Friends of the Trinity Episcopal School Board, and the Levine Children’s Hospital Board of Ambassadors.
Andress graduated with honors in political science from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
