Dr. Thomas Gould is the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Services at Pitt Community College in Winterville, North Carolina. He received his Master’s Degree from North Carolina State University and his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As vice president at PCC, he oversees all aspects of the Curriculum and Continuing Education areas of the College. In addition to these program areas, he also oversees Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advising and Career Services, Customized Training, Distance Education, Grants Development, the Library, Off-site Programs, Tutorial Services, Teaching and Learning, the Pharmaceutical Services at PCC Training Site, and the Early College High School. As vice president, he serves on the President’s Leadership Team and oversees all student success and workforce development initiatives at the college. He has served as the North Carolina Community College System co-chair of the state-wide Transfer Advisory Committee (the TAC), which provides oversight of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) between the NCCC and UNC Systems. He has served on the Pitt County Development Commission Board since 2013 and is currently Board Treasurer.
