Jeanette Proffitt has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
Currently she serves as the Finance Executive leading the Strategic Forecasting & Expense Management Function which includes four key areas: Corporate Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis, Enterprise Cost Management (ECoM), Global Expense Management (GEM), and End-to-End Forecasting.
As the Corporate Financial Planning Executive, Jeanette is responsible for the management of the company’s annual financial plan and forecast. Additionally, she leads the end-to-end forecasting function focused on improving forecasting processes and systems.
As the leader of ECoM and GEM, Jeanette is responsible for designing and delivering an enterprise-wide cost management process that is efficient, accurate, well-controlled, repeatable, and sustainable. The goal is to improve cost transparency and understanding, enabling better decision making that supports improved operating leverage and sustainable growth.
Previously, Jeanette served as the chief financial officer for the Bank’s Support functions and for Global Technology & Operations (GT&O). She joined the company in 2002 as part of the CFO Group, where she held a variety of roles across finance.
Before joining Bank of America, she worked as a manager in the financial services audit and business advisory division of PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a Sales Account Manager with Kraft General Foods.
Jeanette is the CFO Global Diversity & Inclusion Council lead and a member of LEAD for Women and the Inter-Generational Employee Networks. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master of Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
