David Bohm serves as our Director of Development. David will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and building capacity to support the organization’s mission.
Most recently, David served as the Director of Development for the Campbell Law School where he created and executed the fundraising plan and expanded the school’s impact in the local community through a number of engagement initiatives. While he began his career in law, working for two firms and then the North Carolina Bar Association, David has passionately served the last 12 years in the non-profit space, concentrating on finding collaborations between communities for legal needs, educational opportunities, and social determinants of health. In addition to his full-time role, David supports a number of organizations, including serving as the Program Chair of Leadership North Carolina Class XXVIII and Chair of the Y Guides Advisory Board at the YMCA.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washburn University, a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, a Masters of Law in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Duke University. He is originally from Kansas and now lives in Raleigh with his wife and their son and daughter.
