AttainmentNC

AttainmentNC is a two-year, county-based model developed by myFutureNC to help communities strengthen connections among education, workforce and employers to increase educational attainment and expand economic opportunity.

Each county collaborative brings together K-12 schools, community colleges and higher education, workforce and economic development, and employers to build a more coordinated local system for advancing educational attainment.

Over the two-year initiative, participating counties will work with local partners to strengthen education-to-workforce pathways, expand work-based learning opportunities and better connect residents to education, training and high-demand careers.

Together, the eight counties will help myFutureNC develop and refine a sustainable, replicable business model that can be expanded to additional communities.

  • Burke
  • Craven
  • Forsyth
  • Haywood

Each county collaborative will receive $200,000 over two years to support local staffing, planning and implementation.
